Product Description
Weld-proof inductive sensors
Available in 64 finishes
Increase the availability of your systems and at the same time reduce maintenance and storage costs. Weld-resistant inductive sensors from Balluff detect metallic objects, such as those made of steel, aluminum or brass, with an identical switching distance. With their ceramic coating, they are just as resistant to metal spatter, slag and combustion residues as they are to magnetic fields that occur with electric welding currents of up to 25 kA. Even abrasive media and cleaning agents cannot harm them. Perfect to be used in welding, induction hardening systems and similar harsh industrial environments.
The special features
- detect metallic objects without reduction factor
- Extremely robust, resistant to magnetic fields and resistant to sweat
- resistant to abrasive media and cleaning agents
- available in various designs and sizes
