Description
In a magnetic-inductive flow meter, the liquid moves in a magnetic field. Electrodes that are installed perpendicular to this magnetic field and that are in contact with the conductive liquid (min. 5μS) enable the induced voltage to be measured. The measured voltage is directly proportional to the flow velocity (Faraday's law) and therefore to the flow rate. The signal is evaluated and displayed by the associated measuring transducer.Link: Data sheet
